According to IRNA, in a speech delivered on Saturday at the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, the founder of the Islamic Republic, Pezeshkian stated, “We will be honest with people and act according to truth and justice.”
He highlighted that true unity requires all officials to diligently work towards promoting truth and justice, guided by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, in alignment with the national vision of the Islamic Republic of Iran, its overarching policies, and the 7th National Development Plan.
The 7th National Development Plan (NDP) of Iran is a five-year initiative established by the Iranian government in 2021. This plan delineates the nation's objectives and strategies for economic, social, and cultural advancement from 2021 to 2026.
Pezeshkian also expressed gratitude to Iran’s parliament for endorsing his proposed cabinet members, describing this approval as a significant advancement towards the national unity slogan.
“Since the inception of the Islamic Revolution, the global community has attempted to undermine and destroy our Islamic ideology, yet they have failed because of our unity and resilience,” he remarked.
The president also addressed the actions of the Israeli regime in the region, asserting that regional unity is essential for overcoming the Zionist regime.
Pezeshkian further reiterated the responsibility of all regional governments to back the Palestinian Resistance and oppose the crimes of the Zionist regime.
